say crazy things out loud like I wonder if there's a universe where a post Malone and Ozzy Osbourne song can exist and then you try and the worst thing that happens is it doesn't happen but you know you know if you don't try it will never hold a lot of artists don't I

the post Malone collaboration happens and then you get the phone call sir he said I would love to make an album with you okay stop I need to stop because that's the moment that's the most important my know so I hear this from him I'm a half okay I'm like how am I gonna do this
I such there's so much history and your music there's so much I'm been doing in 50 years so what the only thing you don't know what to do but I don't even know if you remember this part so I get that call and then I'm thinking about I'm like I would love to
you know it's like and Chad from the Chili Peppers is one of my best friends and that one of these really close friends and he was my first phone call after oz he said that he played drums on King and I was like Ozzy wants us to make an album and he was like one
why don't we doing it I was like wow okay he really wants to do it and we need a bass player so I called Duff up from Guns N'Roses we had all just played at this like benefit concert together Mike McCready from Pearl Jam was doing and Duff was like white wine white wine
same thing same enthusiasm so I didn't tell anyone we just got together no one's you know talking about deals or an album we just were like let's see what happens when the three of us sit in this room yeah and make some music and in four days we played for probably six to
eight hours a day in four days we made the entire album crazy the music for the whole 12 structured as we hear pretty much with the exception of a little bit right I mean you're making music then you put you know all the basics and then we start Ozzy and I got together and
analogies like know that section should be there we rearrange stuff but the music was performance based and it stayed like that which is why it sounds so cool are you trying to get out of that experience how are you trying to get to a place where you were comfortable playing this for Ozzy give
them not in the room so I finished what I think is like a good bulk of music that I'm excited to play for him to see if he likes it and if not then I'm like I just got to play whichever secretly you're like it would've been crazy Chris Paul of course but I'm saying that to
myself to prepare myself so I playing in the music for the first time Chad is with me and I'm very excited when I listen to music I can't help myself up standing up somebody air-drumming sitting there looking at me and he listens to the next one he goes it's
like this and he goes it's cool and that's it I'm like boy I like did he like it did he not like it I'm like a little crust I'm like oh my god he hated it he's just like sat and listened little thing and he goes it's cool I don't even know what to think it was
like he was here and then I know check in and I blow it he was gone yeah and so the next day he calls me and he's like okay so when are we starting writing and I was like oh on which song which which one did you like he's like well we have to write them all don't we and I was
like what happens between it's cool and again a couple won't close to me you couldn't be nice it serve you well you really just putting the wind up in a little bit did you know I mean if you give you cite yeah when you when you do an album if there's anything on the
album that you need thing needs to be changed you better challenge before it's released it's too late there's so many hours of it up over my over the years I've got why did not she pokes me in the over lunch you live with it forever we treated every track like it was a and the one
thing oh I've never done this before every sack track is not over-the-top commercial radio place and it's working I mean we're already seeing there right number one what really strikes me about this album is is just the spirit in which everybody came together Chad had
to bring it Duff had to bring it like your best so you know since you are about in your life you only reach certainly yeah oddly it was fate that brought us together in my life it would all the people in the world I've only met a certain amount of people yeah what we're
a bunch of them I made good and do you feel it was fate that brought you and Randy together what you absolutely randy rhoads walking around with the first I'm a man awesome if you this one didn't sound way it's always self so you look but what I heard him
very lucky in my career but also my wife has been such a great mom what just tells me is easier you wanna sit on your arse feeling sorry for yourself for the rest you you know I will get off your ass and do something I mean if he wasn't a Sheeran ordering long yet it does feel like every one of

backing tracks for Ozzy he's a melody man I mean you hear it in those Sabbath songs they're so heavy but what makes him so cool is the simple melodies on top of them you know and he's he's tapped into something uncredible so you know and I found out how much he loves
the Beatles his biggest Beatles fan in the world is sitting right next to me and so I tried to make something that evokes that emotion those chords you know that taken from from that school I was thinking about what it should should be about we got together and we wrote
some melodies and then I was you know thinking of concepts for for myself and knowing everything that he was going through I thought of this thing you know I don't want to die an ordinary man meaning you know I've lived this crazy experience this all of you know his
amazing history and I was like alright I'm just gonna leave it there cuz I I want to do too much just that line fits this melody and that's cool so he comes in the next day and he goes Andrew I want to show you something I wrote some lyrics last night
and he hands me a lyric sheet over there I'll try and find it for you after and yeah keep that safe I swear on my life I'm not kidding and he will attest to this Paul my engineer will test this he hands me a lyric sheet and the first line on the lyric sheet says I'm just an ordinary man Wow
we hadn't talked we didn't spoken and in that word that was the first song we wrote together after this experience the first day he's thinking this that's such a that's that's I mean in one life Sakai you say give me a million people that ain't even the big picture telling a lot
of people yes I know that million people are bad luck I already I was a singer I'm real Cory I love these guys my best man love it was great so what we have you know what the thing is when you make your music so good to have fun doing so record we got to fraud is gonna do we

song that's the Instagram footage of you jerk like conducting string yes he sent me to Abbey Road to get an orchestra in this song because he wanted it wasn't like hey who does strings in LA it was a get on the plane you do it go to London go to Abbey Road record the strings
slash played the guitar solo my cat poor young that's a good daddy Elton John is also on the song as well talk about that after thank you wow that's a copyright that is a real one it's so that's powerful at the moment Desco and what it really brings
home for me as a lifelong fan of not just yourself but of Elton is that once you've lived this life no one else has lived like you no one else has lived like Elton you get to a point in your life you start to think about how will this will be remembered how will
immortality play out and that's a song that speaks to me about everyone's feeling about that how will I be remembered I get asked this question a lot of the question I got which is my favorite album however my my answer varies I have a my dear you must say this one on that one next one that means
