Macaulay Culkin Is Up For a Goof While Eating Spicy Wings | Hot Ones

0:00

Macaulay: It's like, oh, yeah, punch you in the face.

0:00

Like, you know, like that...

0:03

actually, it doesn't taste good.

0:12

Sean: Hey, what's going on, everybody?

0:12

For <i>First We Feast</i>, I'm Sean Evans, and you're watching <i>Hot Ones</i>.

0:15

It's the show with hot questions and even hotter wings.

0:18

And today we're joined by Macaulay Culkin.

0:20

He's an actor, musician and cultural icon who, over the course of his nearly four decade long career, has done everything from decade defining comedies to timeless dramas, experimental humor and avant garde performance art.

0:29

But today, he closes out another season of <i>Hot Ones</i> with us.

0:32

Macaulay Culkin, welcome to the show.

0:34

Macaulay: I couldn't have said it better myself. Wow. Jeez.

0:36

Okay, that's a, that's a very apt description, I guess, you know. Yeah. But, yes. Thank you for having me.

0:41

I've been wanting to do this for a while.

0:43

Sean: What's going through your head as you stare down these wings in front of you?

0:43

Or are you a spicy food fan by nature? Macaulay: Uh, yes.

0:48

I used to challenge my friends to kind of just, like, I put my rubber gloves on and just, you know, cut up the reaper and go: "Here, here's a thin slice of it." .

0:57

Sean: That's all you need.

0:58

Macaulay: Next thing you know, they're in the bathroom, like, just vomiting and stuff, you know?

0:58

So, so, I, you know, I don't know how I'm going to do on this, 'cause it's been a minute, but yeah, I'm game for a game. All right. You gonna eat, too? Sean: I'm joining you. Macaulay: All right. Tastes like chicken. Um, yeah. I mean. Yeah, I men, it's nice. It's nice. It's, um.

1:39

Yeah, it's, it's right down the line. It's...

1:43

I'd give that to my grandma. You know? Yeah. Yeah, this is lovely.

1:53

Sean: So, it's rare for you to sit down and do interviews.

1:56

We're thrilled to have you in here today.

1:56

But, just out of curiosity, what is it that made <i>Hot Ones</i> a yes for you?

2:02

Besides, of course, the free meal.

2:04

Macaulay: Honestly, it seems really, really goofy, and I'm a big fan of goof. So, yeah, I'm, uh, I'm.

2:09

I was like, yeah, let's, let's, uh...

2:09

I'm down to clown around is really what it is. Like...

2:13

Sean: That's, that's the wavelength that I like. Macaulay: Yeah, yeah.

2:15

So, yeah, no, honestly, it was kind of just like, yeah, I was like, I also, I wanted to test my mettle. Sean: Mhm. Macaulay: Yeah.

2:21

I think that's a big thing, too.

2:23

It's kind of, I was like: "Oh, let me see how I can do on this show." .

2:25

Sean: Out of curiosity, did you reach out to Kieran for any tips?

2:25

Because he really bodied the wings of death, I recall, even though he walked into the studio and described the whole experience as super scary.

2:35

Macaulay: No, actually, I did not.

2:36

Like, I said, I kind of wanted to fly in a little bit blind, you know?

2:36

But yeah, no, I'm actually proud to hear that he, uh, that he, uh, he took it all the way to the end. Sean: He set a high bar. Macaulay: Yeah. Yeah, yeah.

2:45

Well, you know, I'm just generally proud of him, because between me and him, we have exactly one <i>Oscar</i>.

2:48

So, it's great talking to you. "Just Wingin' It". All right. Cool. No. Um, um...

2:59

No, it's, um, you know, the, um, the spice's in the front, not the back.

3:11

It's the tip of my tongue, not my throat.

3:14

Sean: It's forward facing. Macaulay: Yeah, yeah.

3:16

Sean: So, whether it's the role of Kelvin in the "<i>Righteous Gemstones</i>", or the work that you've done with "<i>Robot Chicken</i>", you've really leaned into dark comedy and satire in recent years.

3:24

Is there anything unique about Danny McBride's writing or directorial style?

3:28

Like, how is he different from showrunners that you worked with in the past?

3:32

Macaulay: I remember, um, uh, because he had the cans on, the headset on, and so, he can hear kind of just, like, even in between takes, we're talking, and I'm sitting next to the kid who plays my son, and I said: "Um, hey, kid, like, how old are you?" .

3:44

And he goes, um: "I'm seven." .

3:47

I go: "Well, when I was your age, I was eight." . And I was, like... and that broke McBride.

3:54

I was like, all right, cool. I got him to break. You know?

3:54

That show's, like, you almost want to say gone too soon, but it's also kind of just like, no, no, I think it was buttoned up quite right, you know. Yeah.

4:04

Sean: Yeah, it was one of my favorite shows, actually. Macaulay: Yeah, yeah. No, yeah.

4:06

No, it's, 'cause I'm working with Goggins, and every time I see him, I kind of go, uh, I'd say, uh: "Papa Billy". "Papa Billy". And he goes: "Harmon".

4:15

You know, it's like, all right, yeah, yeah.

4:17

So, um, so it's always nice to be in a in Goggins good graces. Yeah, I like this one.

4:29

This one's a little better. Yeah.

4:29

It has that Sriracha, kind of feel.

4:33

Sean: Reflecting back on your time performing with a band called the "Pizza Underground", I imagine when you're doing that kind of performance art, that it can be kind of hit or miss with the audience.

4:41

Like, is there a show that stands out as like, the most hostile crowd that you ever perform pizza songs for?

4:48

Macaulay: What, what we do is, uh, it was a part of the thing is that we would do, like, a local publicity thing for pizza, like, a local pizza joint.

4:54

So, like, they would provide us with pizzas and then we would kind of, we wouldn't, like, necessarily plug them, but we would, also, what we'd like to do was pass out pizzas to the audience and stuff like that.

5:01

So, um, we're passing out, like, pizzas to the audience and some schmuck in, like, the third or fourth row, whatever, uh, tried to peg me with it, and hit our drummer.

5:13

And, by the way, our drummer, um, she played a pizza box on a stick, like, that was...

5:16

That's, this is the Rinky Dink production that you're talking about.

5:16

Sean: You were really grinding the joke.

5:20

You were grinding the joke. Macaulay: Yeah. No. Yeah, exactly.

5:20

It was a very kind of anti-folk kind of kind of thing.

5:23

Um, nailed her just right in the crotch.

5:26

Just, and I was, like: "Oh, that was meant for me, wasn't it?" . You know, yeah.

5:28

I was like: "You know what, guys? Give back the pizza.

5:30

Give back the free pizzas." . Like, you know. And so, uh, um, yeah.

5:35

So, I think that was the most, that was the most belligerent one I think I remember from, at least, from the States. You know? Yeah.

5:45

Little Serrano, a little mango. My kids love mango. Mm. Oh.

5:52

Oh, that's nice and gentle.

5:58

You come to the end and kind of more the back of the throat one, as opposed to just the "Just Wingin' It".

6:03

Sean: I feel like this is the first kind of step up that we take. You know?

6:06

It's kind of has, like, aromatic, almost IPA notes to it.

6:10

Macaulay: I don't taste the mango. Sean: No one does.

6:12

Very serrano forward sauce.

6:15

Macaulay: Yes, yes, very serrano forward.

6:17

Sean: So wrestling has been a constant in your life for many, many years since you saw "<i>The Ultimate Warrior</i>" run into the ring at <i>SummerSlam</i> <i>1988</i>, and persists to this day.

6:25

I've heard you even talk about, like, wanting to write for <i>WWE</i>.

6:31

What would be your dream match up?

6:31

Like, if budget you had no constraints.

6:36

you can use wrestlers past or present, like, can you paint the picture for us? Macaulay: Oh gee whiz.

6:40

I mean, like, you know, I mean, there's a bunch.

6:43

You know, I would do Shawn Michaels versus, uh, Ricky the Dragon Steamboat in a ladder match. You know what I mean?

6:46

Like, you know, uh, I would love to see, uh, peek Andre versus Brock Lesnar. You know what I mean?

6:53

Like, yeah, just like a horse match, you know, things like that.

6:55

I would love to see an improv guy like CM punk in a steel cage match against a guy who's so studious like Randy Savage.

7:03

Like, they would fucking hate each other.

7:05

Sean: You like a clash of styles. Macaulay: Yes, exactly.

7:06

But, also, like a good two big guys, like, you know, like, like I said, like Andre and Lesnar. Boom. Like, yeah.

7:09

So, like, you know, if I was booking a card, like, you know, like, yeah, I think I'd have a lot of fun.

7:15

Like, a fantasy card for sure. Yeah.

7:18

You know, I have a little German in me. I love a good kraut.

7:28

Sean: We'll see if it holds up. Macaulay: Yeah.

7:31

Yeah, it's one of my favorites, so far. Yeah, it's lovely.

7:37

Sean: So, I can sometimes be a bit squeamish asking Elijah Wood about "<i>Lord of the Rings</i>" or Daniel Radcliffe about "<i>Harry Potter</i>".

7:43

But, if you'll humor me, I do want to fact check some of the lore surrounding "<i>Home Alone</i>", 'cause the mythology is kind of amazing.

7:51

Is it true that the picture of Buzz's girlfriend is actually a boy in makeup?

7:56

'Cause director Chris Columbus thought it'd be too cruel to, like, rip on a little girl that way.

8:00

Macaulay: As far as I know, yes.

8:01

I mean, you have to ask Chris, but, like, that's, that's what I was told. But, yes.

8:05

No, apparently, I guess, that was the gag.

8:07

And also, because I was nine years old, they pretty much glued all the rest of those pages together.

8:12

Sean: That's what I was gonna say.

8:12

Like, the <i>Playboy</i>, right?

8:12

It was glued together so you wouldn't see any boobs when you're thumbing through it.

8:17

Macaulay: We don't wanna expose the kid.

8:17

Like, yeah, nothing I haven't seen before.

8:22

Sean: Is it true that your stunt double was a very short 30 year old man? Macaulay: Yeah. His name was Larry.

8:28

Um, and I saw him in the wardrobe department for the first time.

8:32

And so, uh, you know, he's, and he's like, you know, I get changed, and I walk out and there's this guy, Larry, uh, dressed exactly like me, 'cause we're both trying on the same outfit.

8:42

And I'm like: "Oh, hey, Larry, how are you doing?"

8:42

, and he goes: "Hey, I'm doing good. Hey, I'm Larry. The stunt guy." .

8:50

And he kind of looks at me and goes: "How old do you think I am?" .

8:54

And I go, oh, that's a loaded question.

8:54

I know he's much older than me, 'cause I was nine, so I was loaded. I go: "13?" . Much older than me.

9:02

And he goes: "That was funny." . So, uh... yeah.

9:04

So, he, um, I remember my favorite, like, my memory of Larry, he's climbing the shelf.

9:10

He's climbing the shelf, trying to reach that thing at the top and the whole shelf collapse.

9:12

It was vicious, that first take. It was vicious.

9:15

And then, um, they do it again, and there's another take and just boom.

9:19

And they didn't like the way everything fell.

9:22

And they do it again, and they do it again, and they do it again.

9:25

And I'm going: "Please take it easy on Larry. He's only 13 years old." . So, yeah.

9:33

Sean: Is it true that you improvised the line "You guys give up, or are you thirsty for more?" ?

9:37

Macaulay: No, no, not not that one. Uh, no, no.

9:39

That, that was, that was in the script.

9:41

Uh, what was one of the ones that was improved?

9:41

When I was at the grocery store, it's like: "Where are your parents?"

9:45

, like, there's a lot of that.

9:45

And it was like "Why won't you tell me?" .

9:48

"'Cause you're a stranger." .

9:50

Like, yeah, that one was mine.

9:52

So, I did a lot of that kind of stuff.

9:52

It's like, oh, again, if you let me off the leash. Yeah, sure.

9:55

You know, I liked to walk around, like... yeah.

9:58

But, um, but yeah, yeah, you know, I did what I was told, like a good little boy. Sean: One more for you.

10:03

Is it true that Joe Pesci deliberately kept his distance from you 'cause he wanted you to think that he was mean?

10:10

Macaulay: That's what I heard.

10:10

But, you know, I could see why he was kind of, like: "Oh, I want to scare the kid. I want to be scary." .

10:12

I just remember kind of sitting there, he goes: "How you doing, kid?"

10:16

, and I go: "You know what? I'm actually tired.

10:18

I haven't been home in, like, 4 or 5 months." .

10:21

He goes: "I havent been home in three years." .

10:24

I was like, oh, I didn't really realize this was a dick measuring contest, but...

10:28

but, yeah, I guess you beat the ten year old Joe Pesci. Sweet scotch bonnet. Okay. Scotch bonnet.

10:40

Again, is has that kind of bell pepper forward thing I'm not a huge fan of.

10:49

I'm waiting for it to develop. Oh, yeah. Yeah.

10:56

Sean: So, when we had Kieran on the show, he gave us his definitive "Mount Rushmore" of classic retro video games, which included <i>Castlevania</i>, <i>Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest</i>, <i>Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! </i>!

11:08

Macaulay: He put <i>Simon's Quest</i> on there? God bless him.

11:10

Sean: What are your top four?

11:10

Like, definitively, your top four retro games? Macaulay: Uh. Let's see. Uh.

11:15

Uh, I'm a, I'm a big <i>Mass Effect 2</i> guy.

11:21

Like, that was, that was kind of a...

11:21

I thought that franchise was wonderful, but also it peaked at two.

11:26

You know, they were like: "No, don't worry.

11:26

It's going to be this amazing ending."

11:28

, and I was like: "Oh, you mean red, blue or green? Yeah. Okay, great. Like it's wonderful.

11:30

They're all the same endings, just different colors." .

11:32

Um, <i>Knights of the Old Republic</i>, the first one.

11:36

I know people like the second one.

11:36

They feel like it's an unfinished classic.

11:39

The first one is like, kind of, it was just...

11:41

That was a wonderful one.

11:44

I mean, look, it's, my gateway drug is <i>Super Mario Brothers</i>.

11:49

I can't wait to show my kids that, 'cause they're gonna go: "This game is hard." . Like, yeah, it's hard. Like, you know.

11:55

Yeah, like, you know, I'm surprised that people called that a kid's game. Like, yeah.

11:59

Like, you really, really had to grind to get good at that.

12:03

I could say <i>Night Trap</i>, for the Sega CD, but no...

12:06

I mean, honestly, I do have a soft spot for that one.

12:09

Um, it's <i>ToeJam & Earl</i>.

12:11

I forgot <i>ToeJam & Earl</i>...

12:13

Sean: And you worked the <i>ToeJam & Earl</i>.

12:14

Macaulay: Yes, I produced the most recent one.

12:17

We just kind of googled, like, oh, like, who made this? Oh, Greg Johnson.

12:20

And so reached out to Greg Johnson, kind of just like: "Hey, want to be friends?" .

12:25

"Tell me all about that thing you did 30 years ago." .

12:28

Sean: Brought it all full circle.

12:28

Macaulay: Uh, and, yeah, he was like: "Yeah, we can make another game." and he invited me over.

12:31

I think it was, um, it was up Northern California, and went to the studio, messed around, stuff like that. Like, yeah.

12:35

But I'm in, I'm in the credits and all that kind of stuff. Yeah, yeah. Sean: Full circle. Macaulay: Yeah, yeah. No, it was wonderful. It was wonderful.

12:40

So, <i>ToeJam & Earl</i>.

12:40

I'm sorry I forgot about <i>ToeJam & Earl</i>. I'm sorry, Greg. Sorry. Kieran ain't wrong.

12:52

I mean, <i>Castlevania</i>, honestly, has a sweet spot in my heart.

12:56

Sean: All right, so up next is "Aprichot".

12:59

Macaulay: Uh, it has peaches in it, right? All right, fine.

13:05

I taste the apricot right away. Sean: Mhm. Macaulay: Mhm.

13:14

Sean: Do you have any tips for people who want to approach celebrities out in public?

13:18

Like, I feel like no one has more experience with the good, bad and in-between of that than you.

13:22

Macaulay: Don't follow me to the bathroom. Don't do that.

13:25

'Cause I know they're like: "Oh, I have you alone." , and it's like: "Yeah.

13:28

And also, I got my dick in my hand."

13:28

, like, you know, just, like, don't do that.

13:31

Like, you know what I mean?

13:31

That just seems like etiquette. You know what I mean?

13:34

It's, like, you know, why do I have to teach you that? You know? Yeah.

13:36

Here's the thing, is that, you know, you kind of brought it up.

13:39

It's, like, I've been famous, like, virtually my entire life.

13:42

Um, and, um, I take my kids to school, and the other kids go: "That's Dak and Carson's dad." .

13:49

And I'm, I'm dad famous there.

13:52

And I want to keep that up, you know, even if it's just temporary.

13:55

Even if it's just illusion.

13:55

I've never felt more famous.

14:00

Like, more, like, more complete famous than that. Um, so... Yeah, yeah.

14:03

So, like I said, I try to keep up, at the very least, I keep up the illusion.

14:06

So, don't approach celebrities when they're at the dinner table.

14:09

Don't go take them to the bathroom and never do it in front of their kids.

14:13

'Cause even if they're cool with it, just don't do it. Just don't do it.

14:15

My kids have no idea that me and Brenda are famous.

14:19

They see mama on TV, 'cause when she's not around, I put on "<i>Suite Life</i>". Uh... Just sayin.

14:24

And I'm like, oh, you know, I said, I said: "Oh, yeah, no, I showed them some "<i>Suite Life</i>".

14:29

And you know what Dak said?

14:30

He goes: "Someday I want to grow up and, and marry a girl just as pretty as as, as London Tipton". I'm like: "Yeah, yeah." , I was like, yep, yep.

14:39

But, they, um they are thoroughly unimpressed that we're on TV and stuff like that.

14:43

It's like, I just don't want them to get mired...

14:45

Sean: You wanna stretch that time out, as much as you can. Yeah.

14:47

Macaulay: I don't want them to get mired by all that kind of stuff. You know what I mean?

14:47

Like, I'm, you know, I'm not intending to raise a nepo baby, no matter how much they're going to be like that, you know? "Da' Bomb". The bomb diggity? Oh, I see that. That's, like, abrasive. Sean: It's violent.

15:13

Macaulay: It's, like, designed for the show.

15:15

It's like, it's not for the flavor. It's for, like...

15:17

Sean: Not for any other reason. Macaulay: "Oh, yeah."

15:17

, punch you in the face, like, you know, like that, actually, it doesn't taste good. It doesn't taste good.

15:24

Like I said, this is a, this is a novelty. This is a novelty mark. Sean: It's a prank. Yeah. Macaulay: Yeah.

15:28

This feels like a prank thing.

15:30

Sean: And I think that you accurately pegged it.

15:32

It's, like, it doesn't exist for any other reason except for this moment in this show.

15:37

Macaulay: It's a gag gift.

15:38

You know, it's a, it's a gag thing. Yeah.

15:39

Sean: Well, you know what?

15:41

Macaulay: I mean, I'm kind of gagging a little bit, but...

15:44

Sean: You can take it with you. All right? Macaulay: Oh, cool. Oh, I can take... Oh, wow. Sean: Yeah.

15:47

Macaulay: Look, Brenda, here's some ass sauce.

15:54

Sean: If you could bring any 90s snack back from the dead, what would it be?

15:57

And why is it the <i>Hostess</i> Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle cake?

16:01

Macaulay: Oh, honestly, I mean, this doesn't fall into the category of snack, but, um, <i>Ecto Cooler</i>.

16:06

For some reason, that popped in my head randomly.

16:10

I was staring at my kids in the backyard, and like: "They could really use an <i>Ecto</i> <i>Cooler</i> right now." .

16:13

Like, what am I talking about?

16:13

I just remember it had Slimer on it and I thought it was cool. I couldn't afford it.

16:18

I just got, I just got the milk from, from, uh, from the cafeteria.

16:23

Sean: Well, I'll tell you what.

16:23

I could use an <i>Ecto Cooler</i> right now. Macaulay: Yes, yes, yes. Sean: You know? Macaulay: I can tell. Yeah.

16:27

Honestly, even I'm getting a little teary.

16:27

I'm getting involuntaril teary. Sean: Even you. Even you. Macaulay: Yeah, yeah.

16:31

Sean: You're even starting to break mach just a little bit.

16:36

Are you ready to move on here to the ninth sauce?

16:39

Macaulay: The "Sucker Punch".

16:39

That was, that was a, that was certainly a movie. Okay. I actually never saw it. Yeah.

16:56

This one's also, it's abrasive up front.

17:00

I'll talk to you once it kind of settles in.

17:02

Sean: But, you know what?

17:02

I'm having a hard time in my mind being like: "Oh, well, who handled this better, Mac or Kieran?" . You know what I mean?

17:08

You guys have almost like a same disposition here, and a same enthusiasm for talking about retro video games. By the way.

17:15

Macaulay: Clearly it's me. Right, right?

17:17

'Cause I'm standing right in front of you.

17:17

Sean: Well, you're in front of me. You're in front of me. Yeah.

17:18

Macaulay: I can hear you, you know?

17:18

Um, um, like I said, I would give that for somebody who, like, likes hot, hot sauce.

17:27

Yeah, like, I'll take this home, and don't worry, I'm gonna take this home after the show, and I'm gonna regift it. Where's my lucky friend?

17:33

Sean: You know, I'm right here, and I can hear you, by the way.

17:36

Macaulay: Yeah, I'm gonna steal all your sauces.

17:40

Sean: So in 2003, you made a return to Hollywood with the film "<i>Party Monster</i>", which at the time broke like a ten year long streak of you taking a break, a hiatus from making TV shows and films.

17:51

Is there a script or role that was offered to you during that break that maybe you most regret not pursuing?

17:57

Macaulay: Well, you have to understand, at least then I was like, I was retired for at least a big chunk of that, for at least like 6 or 7 years of that, like just, um, went to high school, I got married way too young, things like that, you know, and, um, I was actually pretty good at, like, reading, I was kind of voraciously reading through the scripts.

18:10

But, there was a couple that slipped through, and I remember, about two years later, kind of clearing out the house, throwing out the old scripts, and I saw, it was, like, the one that I didn't read was "<i>Rushmore</i>". I was like: "Oh, dang".

18:23

Like, I probably could have done that one. Like, you know, yeah.

18:25

Although, I mean, I can't imagine anyone but Schwartzman doing that part.

18:28

But, at the same time I was like: "Oh man, that would have been a ball and a biscuit. That one." . You know, yeah. Sean: All right, Mac.

18:34

Macaulay: Here's the one?

18:34

Honestly, the worst thing is that I have a little bit of a leaky nose, but I can handle this. Yeah, yeah. The last dab. The last name.

18:49

Macaulay: Do you have the Donna Summer song, like, cued up?

18:52

Sean: Yeah, yeah, we're gonna clear that. No problem. Macaulay: Yeah.

18:54

You know, I'm gonna keep this. Sean: It's all yours.

18:58

Macaulay: This is mine now. Sean: It's all yours. You know what?

18:58

It's the last time we're using these sauces anyway. All right?

19:01

Macaulay: Oh, yeah, it's the end of the season.

19:01

Sean: You can clean out the stock. Yeah. Macaulay: Yeah, exactly.

19:03

I'll take your whole stock.

19:06

Except, except for this one.

19:06

I don't know why I keep on shitting on this one, but yeah. All right. Sean: All right.

19:09

Macaulay: Full dabby poo. All right, let's see.

19:13

What's the Scoville on this?

19:15

Sean: 2 million, actually. Macaulay: All right. Cool. Sean: Boop, boop. Macaulay: Yeah. Let's go. Sean: Cheers.

19:20

Macaulay: Cheers, my dears.

19:25

Sean: All right, so to close things out in 2019, you ranked your top ten favorite Macaulay Culkin movies on your website, "Bunny Ears".

19:31

Macaulay: Oh, my goodness.

19:35

Why is "<i>My Girl</i>" at the bottom of the list? That was a great movie. Macaulay: Oh, gosh.

19:38

Uh, it's probably because I died. I'm dead.

19:43

You know, I still, I still get, I still get phone calls, I mean, it's becoming less and less often, but I still get phone calls.

19:50

It's usually from a girl or a woman.

19:52

Um, and it's like, like I have, like, a voicemail or two.

19:56

It's kind of like: "Hey, Mac, I just, I just saw "<i>My Girl</i>", and I know this is really weird.

20:00

I just want to make sure you're okay.

20:00

I just I know, I know you're, I know you're not Thomas J.

20:06

I just, you know, I just want to make sure you're alive." .

20:06

It's, like, that used to happen like, at least, like, two times a year.

20:11

Sean: It's a movie that endures.

20:13

Macaulay: I still do the "Can't see a thing without his glasses." .

20:15

Like, you know, just like. Oh, like, just, yup. Nope, nope. Um... But, yeah, yeah.

20:18

No, I'm trying to think of how many movies I died in.

20:21

I died in "<i>Good Son</i>".

20:22

Sean: Which didn't even crack the top ten, by the way.

20:25

All right, one more for you.

20:25

What makes "<i>Home Alone 2</i>" better than "<i>Home Alone</i>"?

20:29

Macaulay: I got paid more.

20:29

I think I owned 5% of the of the net.

20:36

Um, and also 15% of the merchandising.

20:38

So, if you buy a <i>Talkboy</i>, I'm like: "Yeah, I'll take 15% of that. Thank you very much." .

20:41

By the way, buy a <i>Talkboy</i> this Christmas.

20:45

Sean: And on that note, look at you, Macaulay Culkin.

20:45

Taking on the wings of death. Living to tell the tale.

20:51

Now there's nothing left to do, but roll out the red carpet for you.

20:54

This camera, this camera, or this camera.

20:54

Let the people know what you have going on in your life. Macaulay: Oh, uh. Let's see. Uh, oh...

21:01

I mean, "<i>Fallout</i>" season two. I'm very excited.

21:02

Um, Brenda and I are actually doing, um...

21:06

we're going to be in "<i>Zootopia 2</i>".

21:08

We just wrapped up that yesterday, actually.

21:11

So, uh, that's gonna be a lot of fun.

21:12

So, I've got a couple things coming out at the end of the year.

21:12

So, yeah, come check it out. You know, yeah.

21:27

Macaulay: Good times abound, man.

21:31

Macaulay: Oh, I know, uh. Prom pose. Sean: Okay.

21:40

Macaulay: 'Cause you're a stranger.
