The question for the kids out there that are really want to live this life and want to do it, what are they missing after you join Catseye?

What is the reality since it became a band and the industry started moving with you with the music came out? >> Lara.

>> I mean, I think there there are so many moving parts because after we were done being trainees and like became Catseye, it was so much more than like hard work.

It was struggling with dynamics, learning how to build a relationship with each other, the schedule for sure, and then also dealing with the internet, dealing with opinions, learning how to be creative on our own while still like fitting into a mold together, I think.

Like there are so many nuances >> Wow, this is a job now.

>> That's an amazing sense of self-awareness so early in the band's existence to know those elements are key. That's therapy talk.

I think it's also like we're all very creative people.

So like learning to fuse that together, it's a struggle, but it's also a beautiful thing.

And I think like that is not easy, for sure.

>> Well it's hard to enjoy it these days not not because it's not enjoyable not to try to create this kind of unrealistic sense of sort of sort of stress or whatever but it's a stressful time. >> Yeah for sure.

>> I really think your generation of musicians who are actively working to to entertain and to perform and to inspire an audience are on the front lines of the internet at its worst. >> Yeah for sure.

>> have gotten better by now and it's actually getting it's getting it's getting an F and F right now in humanities.

>> Yeah but I I feel like passion is the thing that carries us through like that's the drive it's like we all just like love this so much and we love music and like you just you can't do this unless you're unless you like eat, breathe, sleep music.

Like everything that they say it's like it's it's not true.

They don't know who you are as a person. It's fake.

So, Sophia, how does kindness, self-kindness play into this and how important is it that you hold on to that given the the expectations of your teams, the world, yourselves most importantly.

How do you factor self-awareness and kindness into this right now?

>> One of the biggest advices that we got actually from one of our team members that work very closely with us, Miss C.

She always told us that at the end of the day we always go to bed with ourselves.

No matter who you're with, you could literally be sharing a bed with each other and you're still with yourself like in your mind.

You know, once you close your eyes and you stop speaking.

And that's why it's so important that you are you learn how to talk to yourself a certain way because that's that's the voice that's loudest in your head at the end of the day.

And so you ever since we were trainees, it was always like encouraging each other and having those affirmations, like self-affirmations because it really it really does mess you up.

You know, like any everybody could tell you you're amazing, but if you yourself are telling yourself that you suck, you're >> 100%. >> Yeah.

You just can't believe it.

Like and no one and it's hard for other people to believe in you as well when you don't believe in yourself. >> Yeah.

>> And so I feel like that is one of the biggest investments you can do for yourself and for your well-being and all those things.

It's just like >> Train your inner voice.

>> You you really have to because it you're you're alone with it all the time and with all the voices even just so simply just social media all the words that are said to us.

Like that's just like the that's the backbone that we all need.

It's just that self-talk and how we see ourselves and we're constantly keeping each other in check and we're we're even if we can't be that person for ourselves we're always trying to be that person for each other regardless of anything.

We could have the biggest fight and we're still going to be like but you know what you're so beautiful and you're so hard working but you're so annoying but >> But by the way it's good.

I mean can you imagine a band where everybody just was afraid to speak their mind?

>> That's what makes us so close to each other. We're family.

You know, you grew up in an environment where your mom was in in the entertainment business. She's on stage.

Were there any concerns or how had you think it's been for How has it been for you and all your parents to process this ambition that comes at a young age when as a parent I can tell you even though my kids are grown out the objective is to protect.

So, how do you think that balances for your parents watching this all happen?

>> I think as new as it is for us, it's also very new to our parents. >> Mhm.

>> And it is a learning process for everybody with all the attention that we're getting, how fast-paced everything is.

But at the end of the day, each and every one of us have the most supportive families and parents and siblings and best friends.

All of us still have like those like friends that we've had for years that are still there sticking around.

We are We are constantly surrounded by people and actively surrounding ourselves with people who know who we were even before we were in Cat's Eye.

They knew the dreamer before the artist and I think that's so special and we really learned that that's so important cuz with all the opinions that are happening like their opinion matters the most cuz they know who we are.

>> So, it's like all the hate, all the love is undeserved.

Because the only thing that matters >> [laughter] >> All The only thing that really really matters at the end of the day is what you think of yourself and the people the really like small amount of people that know who you are.
