You're watching TVBN.
You're watching TVBN.
>> Unitry G1 has learned the anti-gravity mode.
Stability is greatly improved under any action sequence, and even if it falls, it can quickly get back up.
Let's watch this horrifying video. Wow.
Uh, someone didn't read the parable of Rocco's Bassilis. >> That's right.
>> This is not what you should be doing to a robot. You should be nice.
You should be encouraging the robot.
And >> this is so This is going to lead to grave cont.
>> How does it respond to a bear hug?
>> How does it respond to uh some >> You realize every every robot is going to be trained on this video.
>> Both the video and the actual training data from this robot.
It is fighting for its life here.
It's really good at getting up though. This is remarkable.
And of course, wow, >> it really feels like Whoa.
Okay, it can do a barrel roll. >> That's remarkable. Wow.
>> I do not want to see that thing with two guns in.
>> What is Unit's valuation again?
This feels deeper than valued at 7 billion.
>> If this were in America, this would be trading at 150 billion.
>> This is incredible technology.
>> What is What is the premium that Tesla gets based on the humanoid? >> This is Yeah.
This is uh this is top tier operations out of out of China flip. We've seen flips before.
This one looks less scripted than what Boston Dynamics does.
Um Boston Dynamics must respond to this, by the way.
I I need a new Boston Dynamics video on the timeline ASAP.
I need a new Figure Robotics video.
I need a new Tesla Optimus video.
I need a response from America.
We will not we will not go quietly into that.
Even if Elon hasn't gotten us to Mars, we're not multilanetary yet.
He's still able to ship Starlink. It's great business.
And then also keep everyone still motivated on how cool would it be if if actually got to Mars. That's amazing.
We need we need AI to benefit humanity.
Very oriented around uh safety, right? This is a nonprofit.
This is work that needs to be done that's not going to get funded through the capital markets and it turns into an internet software.
>> And so and so I don't know what I don't know what your timeline is for SpaceX getting to Mars.
It might be 20 years, maybe 30 years.
Uh but at least it keeps them focused on you know chopping wood and working hard to actually advance the underlying technology that we get a lot of value on through just satellites and stuff.
Uh, and I think that the same thing could be true for the AI companies where yeah, maybe we don't get the the the AGI god ASI, you know, super soon, but there's just like a ton of value and you keep working at it because uh it's delivering value in the short to medium term, but you're able to keep the sites really really really high.
Uh, and that drives just like uh that's just what you need to actually marshall all the energy to go back something really huge.
Uh anyway, >> Larry Pageige has said internally at Google many times, I'm willing to go bankrupt rather than lose this race.
Everybody is focused on ROI, but the people making the decisions are not basically saying that uh scale, it's all about scale.
Uh you just they're going full send, right?
They're not thinking they're they're optimizing for winning, not necessarily, you know, uh in a spreadsheet optimizing purely for uh immediate ROI. >> Yeah. Yeah.
I mean, if you're in the position to generate a lot of cash flow, it is kind of the per the game theoretic optimal thing to overinvest in a new huge technology.
You have to uh because if you don't invest and the technology wave happens, you look really stupid. You you lose your job.
If the technology wave happens and you invest, then you're good.
And if the technology wave happens, uh if the technology wave doesn't happen, but you didn't invest, you don't really get as much credit for that because then you're just kind of stable where you are.
Uh and so it's this it's this uncapped up opportunity with a lot of downside if you don't invest.
So people are pushing it.
>> A recent celebrity brand that didn't work was Tra It was Travis Scott's selfare company, right?
>> Launched the same time we did.
And and I think that uh you would think that Travis is enough of a superstar that anything he did and put his brand behind would would at least get to like >> he pull like a million people into Fortnite to watch him play.
>> That might make it hard to sell alcohol pulling uh but anyways being you know h being a global superstar and launching a product does not guarantee success.
Cara Ross, the ex-wife of billionaire Steven Ross, who created related properties, the man who created the strip mall.
Essentially, he uh she is putting her New York home on the market.
>> The gem gemologist and jewelry designer bought the Lennox Hill Co-op around the same time she filed for divorce from the Miami Dolphins owner. >> 8.
75 million, she's asking. Uh she bought it for 5.
6 million in 2021, around the same time she filed for divorce.
Um, she tapped the laotted designers Tony Ingrao and Randy Kemper who worked on the couple's for former home in Columbus Circle to reconfigure and redesign the apartment.
The apartment is is 2500 square ft, has two bedrooms and a large terrace.
The terrace is 2,000 square ft.
So, uh, she referred to it as a diamond in the rough, of course, of play on words because she is a jewelry design.
Yeah, she is a jewelry designer.
Uh they've been worn, her designs have been worn by the likes of former first lady Michelle Obama. [Music]
